Atlanta Jazz Festival Announces Line-up for 2019 Neighborhood Jazz Series
Free neighborhood concerts will occur in parks throughout metro Atlanta, leading into the 42nd annual Atlanta Jazz Festival, Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 and 26.
The Atlanta Jazz Festival’s annual Neighborhood Jazz Series kicks off Saturday, May 11 with a free concert at Washington Park at 4 p.m.
Hosted each year in partnership with members of the Atlanta City Council, the Neighborhood Jazz Series brings relaxing, free and family-friendly fun to various parks throughout the City of Atlanta.

- May 11: 3 – 8 p.m. at Washington Park presented by Councilmember Michael Julian Bond, featuring Groove Centric and Julie Dexter.
- May 12: 4 – 8 p.m. at Grant Park presented by Councilmember Carla Smith, featuring Mabu’s Ark Band and Jacob Deaton Trio.
- May 18: 4 – 8 p.m. at John A. White Park presented by Councilmember Marci Collier Overstreet and Councilmember Andrea L. Boone, featuring Distilled Butter Band and Brenda Nicole Moorer.
- May 19: 4 – 8 p.m. at West Manor Park presented by City Council President Felicia A. Moore and Councilmember Andre Dickens, featuring Tony Hightower and The Myrna Clayton Experience.
