Anthony Knight is a Project Supervisor with the City of Atlanta, Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA).
Prior to joining the OCA staff, Anthony worked for 20-plus years as a museum educator and consultant. Anthony has extensive experience with and interest in Black history and culture, public and living history, informal education, and mentoring Black youth.
In addition, Anthony is committed to the issues and practices related to the collecting, preservation, and interpretation of information about and material culture from the African Diaspora.
Knight received his undergraduate degree in Spanish and English from Ohio Wesleyan University and a graduate degree in museum education from George Washington University. He also holds a degree in Spanish-to-English translation from the Núcleo de Estudios Lingüísticos y Sociales, Caracas, Venezuela. Knight is a New York City native.
