To celebrate its 43rd festival, the annual Atlanta Jazz Festival (AJF) will hold, six, free, hour-long workshops with acclaimed jazz artists performing this year, including vocalist Jazzmeia Horn, saxophonist Mike Phillips, trumpeter Sean Jones, bassist Ron Carter, saxophonist Archie Shepp, and saxophonist Miguel Zenón.
Each workshop will take place in Greystone at Piedmont Park during the annual Jazz Festival held over Labor Day Weekend 2021, Sunday, September 5, and Monday, September 6.
The free workshops will cover a jazz-related topics designed to appeal to diverse audiences including youth, practicing musicians, seasoned jazz lovers, and those who enjoy Latin jazz.
